THE FRIENDS OF WINTHROP IS A VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO THE SUCCESSFUL EDUCATION OF CHILDREN. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES MEANINGFUL PROGRAMS AND EVENTS FOR PARENTS, STUDENTS, AND TEACHERS. THE ORGANIZATION ENGAGES IN SPECIAL PROJECTS THAT WILL SUPPORT THE SCHOOL MISSION AND COMMUNITY. THE ORGANIZATION WORKS TO CONNECT AND COMMUNICATE WITH THE SCHOOL COMMUNITY BY PROVIDING SCHOOL AND FAMILY DIRECTORIES, NEWSLETTERS, AND HAVE AN ORGANIZATION REPRESENTATIVE FOR EACH CLASSROOM. THE ORGANIZATION IS DEDICATED TO FUNDRAISING TO SUPPORT THE SCHOOL STAFF AND ENHANCE THE EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCES OF THE STUDENTS.
